Colleen “Coco” Kowal, LPC
Colleen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of South Carolina and holds a Master of Counseling from the University of South Carolina. She has been working in education and counseling families for 40 years.
Colleen’s passion for this work began with her own transformation through Imago Relationship Therapy, and she is now a certified Advanced Clinician in the Imago International community and a Certified Getting the Love You Want Couples Workshop presenter. Colleen is a member of the Imago International Faculty Worldwide and trains professionals to become Certified Imago Therapists [link to training page].
When not working, Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, her greatest teacher. Living on Hilton Head Island they enjoy all of the beauty the Lowcountry offers, including tennis, golf, and boating. Their biggest joy is the time they share with their children and grandchildren. As Colleen and Kevin have learned, this work positively impacts the family structure and provides generational healing in a profound way.

Kevin Kowal
After being introduced to Imago theory by his wife, Colleen, the practice of safe dialogue and feeling understood had such a profound effect on his personal life that he was determined to integrate Imago principles into his professional career, as well. He quickly realized the Imago dialogue could create a space of safety and trust for clients and employees in his existing business.
Kevin combines his Imago and Birkman Method training with over thirty years as a business entrepreneur to offer unique services to companies, groups and individuals.
In July 2021, the Imago International Training Institute invited Kevin to become one of the first facilitator faculty members who was not a licensed therapist. Now he helps other couples and individuals to put these teachings into practice.
